On Election Day, November 5th, we were back at the Omega Recording Studios in Rockville, Maryland, to work on the new album. This time we had some incredible musicians adding their talents: Jon Ozment on piano, Peter Revell on bass guitar, Joe Friedman on electric and acoustic guitar, John Emrich on drums, and my brother, Steve Petersen, conducting. They got through all but one of the songs (The Good Life) on that day, leaving us one more session to go to finish the album.

Then Scotty, our sound engineer, will apply his talents. The man is a genius with his sound equipment!

The singles (Keep Her Safe, Keep Him Safe, and Keep Them Safe- the latter will also be on the album) will have their own artwork, which will be different from the album artwork. This is a preview (there may be some very minor changes) of the singles artwork, created by our own Vickie Chen, who is also one of the singers on the album and the singles.

Once we get the last song into the can, Scotty finishes applying his talents, and Vickie finishes the artwork, we head for the CD shop and get everything made. Since not everyone has a CD player, we’ll be making USB sticks as well as CDs.

It’s been a long process, but the album will be here before we know it!!
