On March 11th we were all back at Omega Recording Studio, and we got a lot of work done on the new album. I think one or two more sessions there and we’ll be done with our parts, and then Scotty (our engineer) and brother Ed work their magic to finish things up.

Two days later, Jason and I did the show at Brighter Living on March 13th, and what a show it was. The residents absolutely loved him.

On March 28th, Cathy and I were at Lucy Corr Assisted Living Facility in Chesterfield, Virginia for a show, and once again we had a blast.

On April 13th, we were at Georgina’s Restaurant in Morrisville, North Carolina for a 3 hour gig, and what a great time that was, doing songs from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Two long-time friends came to see us; Debbie G. drove over 2 hours (each way) from Southport, North Carolina, and a blast-from-the-past friend (Laurie M. with her husband and some friends) came from Apex, North Carolina as well. Seeing those people at the show absolutely made my day.

Then back to Virginia, we were at Brighter Living on April 15th, followed by a show at Laurels At Willow Hollow Nursing Center in Richmond on April 19th. Next Wednesday we’ll be back at Lucy Corr Adult Day Care Center in Chesterfield. Next stop should be getting together with Jason and Vickie at Omega Studios in late May.
