Well, here we go into Spring and Summer seasons again, and we’re still going strong. Had a few gigs in March, April and May; On March 18th we were at Bon View Health Care in Richmond, and on March 21st we were at Brighter Living in Hopewell. April 7th found us at Parkside at Beth Shalom in Richmond, followed by April 18th at Brighter Living, and then at Brandermill Woods Health Care facility in Midlothian. On May 16th were at Brighter Living once again.

An interesting development for us was that we were asked to now schedule the third Monday of each month to be at Brighter Living. This is truly great because we have such a good time there. The residents have come to feel like family for us, and we always look forward to being there. They even keep us on our toes with 2 or 3 requests for songs at the following show, and we generally have to look up and learn learn the new songs, and we’ve now added at least 2 gospel songs to the song list.

As of today, we have just 1 show scheduled for June, on the 20th (my birthday), at Brighter Living. We were asked for Marty Robbins songs, and we have 2 new ones all ready to go. Marty Robbins’ cowboy songs go over big there, as do 50s and 60s songs, so we hope “A White Sport Coat” and “The Hanging Tree” will do the trick. We’re looking forward to it.
